The Advancing Knowledge Non-Profit Company (AK NPC) is an outreach, support, training and research organisation for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Education. We maintain our activities in teaching, learning and research at the highest level. The hub through which the AK NPC strategic projects and programmes are delivered is called the SKATT (Science Knowledge Advancement Through Training) Centre. The SKATT Centre is located in Lansdowne, Cape Town. The AK NPC prides itself in the delivery of award-winning projects, programmes and courses in STEM education based on current, relevant, real-life and priority challenges in primary and secondary schools and aiming to preparing learners for the challenges of the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR).

About Us 

We are based in Cape Town but reach out to various provinces in South Africa. AK NPC is an outreach, support, training and research organisation for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education. The hub through which the AK NPC strategic projects and programmes are delivered is called SKATT (Science Knowledge Advancement Through Training) Centre. The SKATT Centre is located in Lansdowne, Cape Town. The AK NPC philosophy to improve the status of STEM education is to create an environment for STEM educators to improve the teaching of their subjects and at the same time supporting learning by providing attractive, interesting and challenging programmes for learners. It is our mission to prepare STEM education for the 4th Industrial Revolution.
